As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.74 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, entrances, dining areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Customer Service Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
