Details Work in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department setting Care for patients across all age groups from neonates through geriatrics Manage all types of ED presentations and standard ED procedures Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:00 Weekend coverage required every third weekend Uses Pyxis medication system, MediTech documentation system, and Vocera communication system First-time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements Active IL RN license required, in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; NIHSS and TNCC preferred Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience required Experience with MediTech charting system preferred Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Skilled in blood product administration and central line care/management Proficient in phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs Experience with continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressor administration Experience with procedural sedation administration Experience managing CVA, ortho-trauma, head injury, and near drowning cases Skilled in interpretation of ABGs and isolation precautions Additional Information Provide emergency care across a wide range of patient diagnoses and age groups Maximum RTO of 5 days Navy blue scrubs required Local candidates accepted at the same rate American Traveler Job ID P-747971.
