You will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, driving innovation, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.Responsibilities Competencies: Design ReviewProject ImplementationProject EstimationProject PlanningProject ScopingProject Status ReportingScope ManagementResponsibilities: Perform building sizing and selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables.Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.Prepares, reviews, and approves foundation, structural steel, building, and earthwork calculations, requisitions, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.Success Metrics and Competencies:Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners.Highly motivated and problem-solving attitude.Strong sense of urgency in responding to constituents.Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.Commitment to promoting the reputation of the company through quality of work.Aspirations to grow professionally and advance within the company.Qualifications:Bachelor 's degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related field.Five or more (5+) years of experience required.Professional Engineer licensure preferred.Extensive knowledge and experience in civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in the energy sector.Advanced proficiency in emerging civil engineering software and tools.Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability considerations.Advanced proficiency in geotechnical and structural engineering principles.In-depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal.High level of personal integrity.Strong relationship capabilities.Proficient in both written and spoken English.About Bowman Are you ready to build a career that makes a lasting impact?
