Clinic Privileges Will Also Be Requested in Case Coverage Expands

EMR: Epic

Trauma Level: Adult II / III / IV

Compensation: $3700 per 24 hours.

Schedule

24-Hour Shifts

Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM

Approximately 3 x 24-Hour Shifts

Call Is Not Intended to Be Restricted In-House

Due to Patient Volume, Providers Typically Remain Onsite While Actively Working or Rest Onsite

October 6, 2026 - 7:00 AM-7:00 AM

November 20, 2026 - 7:00 AM-7:00 AM

December 22, 2026 - 7:00 AM-7:00 AM

Patient Population / Volume

Patient Population: Adult Women

Approximately 2-6 Deliveries Per 24-Hour Shift

Approximately 50-75 Deliveries Per Month

Occasional Calls From the Emergency Department

Hospitalist Backup Available

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Hospital-Based OB/GYN Coverage

Provide 24-Hour OB/GYN Call Coverage

Perform Rounding and Admissions

Manage Labor and Delivery Patients

Perform Vaginal Deliveries

Perform Cesarean Sections

Respond to Occasional Emergency Department Consults

Provide Other Inpatient OB/GYN Care as Required

Required Procedures

Dilation and Curettage (D&C)

Cesarean Sections

Vaginal Deliveries

Other Inpatient OB/GYN Procedures

Support Staff

Other OB/GYN Providers Available

Provider Will Not Work Solo

Hospitalist Backup Available

Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology - Required

Active Washington Medical License - Required

Candidates Needing Washington Licensure Will Not Be Accepted

BLS - Required

BLS Must Be From the American Heart Association or American Red Cross as Applicable

Epic Experience - Required

At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology - Required

COVID-19 Vaccination - Required, No Exemptions

Recent Clinical Activity Requirements

Clinical Activity Documentation From the Previous 24 Months - Required

At Least 100 Patients Representative of the Scope and Complexity of Requested Privileges

At Least 15 Cesarean Sections Within the Previous 24 Months

At Least 30 Vaginal Deliveries Within the Previous 24 Months

At Least 50 Gynecology Patients Within the Previous 24 Months

Credentialing

8 Hours of Orientation Required Before Start Date

Emergency / Fast Privileges May Be Available Depending on the Role and Any Exceptions

Hospital and Clinic Privileges Will Be Requested
