Sanitation Technician

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION - $20.00 PLUS 3rd shift differential - (range $22-$23 per hour) The Sanitation Technician will work with the Sanitation department to ensure the highest safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved. Emphasis will be on quality. The ideal candidate must work effectively as part of a team and across teams, have attention to detail, and be diligent in maintaining compliance with procedures. Duties include cleaning equipment and facilities with water and chemicals, following specific sanitation procedures. Working hours: Monday- Friday 10pm-6am and Saturdays as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB TASKS: * Perform tasks under the direction of the Sanitation Manager and Director of Food Safety & Quality and/or the Production Manager * Tasks include but are not limited to: * Washing the dishes including trays, racks, and hand held tools * Taking apart and sanitizing equipment following SOP's * Maintaining the floor, including full cleaning and sanitizing * Taking out trash * Stocking PPEs on the production floor * Cleaning front of house including office space, breakroom, and restrooms * Follow all sanitation SOP and guidelines as directed by the Sanitation Manager * Complete work while following food safety regulations, occupational safety regulations and all safety guidelines and prioritizing safe working practices
