Job Description
Title: Emergency Room RN

Schedule:
- Nights - 12 hr shifts; 36 hours/week
- Every-other weekends required
- Every-other holiday required

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 52 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:
- Nursing degree
- RN compact or KS license
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (will be obtained within the first months of hire)
- TNCC certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Entry-level position; will hire new graduates

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
- Provide evidence-based care within the nursing scope of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
