Ultrasound Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), Friday through Sunday. On-call rotation approximately every 5 weeks.

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The position requires expertise in various ultrasound techniques, including obstetric and gynecologic imaging, as well as vascular studies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
• Ensure proper patient preparation and comfort during procedures.
• Utilize appropriate imaging techniques and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to assess patient needs and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission.
• ARDMS certification in relevant ultrasound specialties required.
• Experience with Cerner documentation system preferred.
