SALARY: $55k-$87k/yr. DOE

LOCATION: Portland, OR

SCHEDULE:  Full-time; Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm | Hybrid – 2 days remote

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, documents, and court filings while ensuring compliance with deadlines and docketing requirements.

Coordinate depositions, trial preparation, court filings, attorney calendars, and conference calls.

Manage attorney time entry, billing, and client communication, in coordination with the Accounting Department.

Maintain electronic and physical files, manage correspondence and email, prioritize attorney requests, coordinate deliveries, and provide responsive administrative support to attorneys and clients. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum of 5 years of experience within a litigation support role as a legal assistant, practice assistant, or legal secretary, high school diploma or GED required.

Strong typing, proofreading, and word processing skills, typing with a high degree of accuracy.

Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage competing priorities, while meeting strict deadlines.

Exceptional communication, professionalism, with a commitment to teamwork and outstanding client service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, with frequent typing, reading, and reviewing documents. Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, and move files or office supplies, as well as perform routine office activities with or without reasonable accommodation.
