As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Eden Prairie, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service, clear communication, and a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout stores, common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and document security-related incidents according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
