Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Watertown Regional Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy gatherings to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Design and implement treatment plans, incorporating anger management techniques and enhancing coping and social skills to mitigate high-risk behaviors.
\n
• Actively collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, ensuring a coordinated effort in supporting the youth and families.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, completing all required paperwork such as intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within specified timeframes.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and present recommendations for improved client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include a diverse demographic comprising of youth, adults, couples, and families facing a range of psychological challenges. You will encounter clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, behavioral issues in children, and trauma. Your ability to apply a holistic “wellness” model of therapy will be essential in empowering clients to navigate their struggles and promote healing.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in California.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (primarily from 4 PM to 7 PM).

• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle for potential home visits.
\n
• A clean background check, including fingerprint clearance, as required by state regulations.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in providing therapeutic services, particularly with positive behavior support and working with children and families. Familiarity with developing behavior management strategies and conducting holistic assessments will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and availability of caseload. Additional benefits include:
