Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote mental health and relationship improvement.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all client records are up-to-date.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, as well as external services, to provide comprehensive care to clients and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each client, using assessments and ongoing evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. As an LMFT at East Side Therapy, you will work closely with individuals experiencing family dynamics, marital conflicts, and youth-related issues, providing culturally sensitive care that respects each client's unique circumstances and values.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

We require at least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Candidates who have worked in community health clinics or have a background in family therapy will be given preference. Familiarity with culturally responsive practices is a plus, as we serve a diverse client population in Hayward and surrounding areas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position has a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
