OB Hospitalist – Redwood City, California (New Program Launch)

• Start Date: 11/01/2026
• Program Type: Newly launched OB-GYN Hospitalist service line
• Coverage Model: 24-hour in-house shifts
• Team Structure: 5 OB-GYN Hospitalists total
• Medical Director Role: 1 OB-GYN Hospitalist Medical Director position also available

• Annual Deliveries: ~1,200 births
• NICU Level: Level II NICU
• Specialty Support: Maternal-Fetal Medicine support from Stanford
• Collaborative Environment: Community OB/GYNs, nursing teams, and academic-affiliated support

• Labor & delivery management
• OB and GYN triage
• Obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Surgical and inpatient GYN coverage
• Inpatient consults

• Predictable 24-hour in-house shifts
• Structured team-based coverage model
• Designed to support continuity and work-life balance within a group of 5 hospitalists

• Board Certification: Obstetrics & Gynecology required
• Experience: 5+ years preferred
• Strong clinical autonomy and team-based practice experience expected
