Your Role as a Bus Driver A childcare bus driver ensures the safe transportation of children to and from our facilities. In addition to driving duties, the driver may also serve as a teacher, working to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Responsibilities include assisting in guiding young learners, planning engaging activities, and cultivating strong partnerships with parents through open communication. Requirements Are at least 21 years old, ability to pass a background check, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and have child passenger safety training. Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances. Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
