Land Analyst

Key Accountabilities
⢠Assists Land Asset Teams in acquiring and maintaining oil & gas leases and Exploration & Production contracts focusing on research, creating various reports and analysis of data.
⢠Responds to mineral owner questions, issues or demands.
⢠Researches and analyzes leases and contracts, including ownership set up for new wells, determining working interest and net revenue interest in new wells or recompletions.
⢠Determines working interest ownership in federal units & participating area expansions.
⢠Develops and maintains network relationships with government agencies, lessors, mineral owners and partners.
⢠Develops and maintains network relationships with other groups within company, i.

, legal, accounting, tax, production and auditing.
⢠Creates various reports from Tobin Land Suite or parallel systems.
⢠Creates various reports from Business Objects pertaining to critical leases.
⢠Gathers and analyzes data for quarterly contract obligation reports and lease obligations reports.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
⢠Entry level, typically 0-3 years of experience.
⢠Requires basic knowledge of discipline.
⢠Uses established procedures to solve standard, straight-forward problems.
⢠Has the ability to perform routine assignments based on detailed instructions/past practices.
