Business Development Director

Caravan Wellness partners with employers, healthcare organizations, financial institutions, digital health companies, and wellness platforms to license high-quality health, wellness, and financial education content. Our mission is to make trusted expert content accessible wherever people seek support for healthier lives.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead enterprise sales and strategic partnerships. This individual will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with executive decision-makers, manage a consultative sales process, and help drive Caravan's continued growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and enjoys developing long-term enterprise relationships.

Responsibilities

Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
Identify and develop new business opportunities across healthcare, employee benefits, financial services, digital health, and wellness markets
Build relationships with senior executives including HR leaders, benefits leaders, healthcare executives, and partnership teams
Deliver product demonstrations and solution presentations
Develop customized proposals and negotiate enterprise agreements
Collaborate with marketing on lead generation strategies and campaigns
Represent Caravan at conferences, networking events, and industry meetings
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Help shape new products based on customer feedback and market opportunities
Meet and exceed revenue targets

Qualifications

7+ years of enterprise B2B sales or business development experience
Proven success selling enterprise software, healthcare solutions, employee benefits, HR technology, or digital content
Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
Experience managing long sales cycles and complex stakeholders
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
