As an RN, you will provide care to patients and support the mission of making communities healthier. The Acute Care Unit is a 31‑bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care and oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, offering opportunities to develop critical care skills and strengthen clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care. How You'll Contribute Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record. Be responsible for completing and revising the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. What We're Looking For Current Alabama or compact state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Basic Life Support required. ACLS, required within 6 months of hire. Experience preferred, but new graduates welcomed to apply.
