Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for residents with speech, language, voice, fluency, or swallowing concerns; develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy to individuals and offer建议 groups as appropriate; monitor progress and adjust goals based on outcomes.
- Administer standardized assessments and document results in the resident’s electronic medical record per facility policy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work) to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
- Educate residents and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques; train facility staff as needed.


Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the United States or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting on a 40-hour per week schedule.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient with electronic medical records.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for the specified duration.
