Cloud Engineer - Chantilly, VA We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure and self‑managed Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions, with emphasis on Kubernetes clusters deployed and maintained on EC2 instances. Candidates with a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and AWS Solutions Architect certification are strongly preferred. Required Qualifications Architect, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using a broad range of AWS services. Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters on EC2 (non‑EKS). Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.Ensure security, performance, and reliability across cloud and Kubernetes environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud‑native application development. Desired Qualifications Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) strongly preferred. AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred. Direct experience managing self‑hosted Kubernetes clusters. Proficiency with Docker, Linux, and automation tools. Experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling. The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $200,000 – $230,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
