Cloud Architect

This position supports a customer focused on human capital management technologies, workforce services, and analytics platforms that drive business decision-making. The role blends cloud architecture, systems engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure operations, and emerging technology integration. Core Responsibilities Architect, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud environments Perform system upgrades, operations & maintenance, and Tier 1–3 support Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies Build secure, privacy-focused internet-based systems designed to reduce user tracking exposure Integrate emerging technologies such as AI, AR/VR, mobile platforms, and analytics into enterprise architectures Manage PKI infrastructure, including Root and Subordinate Certificate Authorities Support hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure, monitoring, and compliance efforts Create technical procedures, conduct demos, and brief users/leadership Key Requirements TS/SCI with Polygraph required EC2 RDS / Aurora S3 Elastic Load Balancer Route 53 CloudFormation IAM roles Security Groups KMS encryption S3 buckets Systems & InfrastructureWindows, Linux/CentOS administration Apple macOS and iOS environments Database administration and scalability: MySQL AWS RDS Aurora Monitoring/alerting: CloudWatch PKI architecture and certificate management Scripting & DevelopmentBasic proficiency in: Python Bash Ruby on Rails Desired Skills A&A / accreditation compliance support Splunk logging in hybrid environments RCT Systems offers: Immediate 401k vesting Generous PTO and flexible schedules $500.00 annual technology allowance RCT Systems is committed and proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
