Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinson's Full-time Salary Min: 139,000 Salary Max: 250,500 Workday Global Grade: 19 Travel: Yes, 50% of the Time Compensation: USD 109,500 - USD 208,500 yearly We require the candidate to live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Candidates may live in the following cities: Grand Rapids, MI; Ft. Wayne, IN. Responsibilities Call directly on HCP offices to address questions about patient access and reimbursement for Duopa and Vyalev. Educate HCPs on patient support programs and access tools. Educate on product‑specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and distribution. Educate on available resources to address access issues. Provide local expertise regarding national/regional payer policies, coding changes, and claim submission processes. Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility. Report payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams. Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory. Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in rare disease with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement. Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations, and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services. Thorough understanding of technical payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines. Strong understanding and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level across all settings of care. Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics. Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the rare disease space (Part B DME, Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, etc.). Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and how to interact in a compliant fashion. Excellent territory and account management skills. Possesses a valid driver’s license and is capable of driving a personal or company vehicle or powered material handling equipment. Must satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain them.
