Junior Operations Associate

Our client, an AI-powered software startup, is hiring an Operations Associate to keep the company running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a fully remote, fast-moving environment where priorities shift often, and we're looking for a versatile, resourceful operator who thinks creatively, not a specialist in one narrow domain. You'll work directly with the COO, Operations Managers, and Chief of Staff.

What You'll Do
- Keep records accurate and organized across Google Drive, Notion, and archives, with timely updates and strong version control
- Own accounts payable and receivable support, including invoice processing, tracking, reconciliations, and follow-ups
- Partner with the COO, Operations Managers, and Chief of Staff to maintain contract and compliance document workflows
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and briefing notes that keep leadership informed and day-to-day operations on track
- Help administer tools and systems (Google Workspace, accounts, and licenses) and monitor shared inboxes as needed
- Drive process improvements and special projects from start to finish, working across teams to expand what Operations can deliver
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- 0–3 years of experience in an operations, administrative, finance, or project coordination role (e.g., operations associate, administrative coordinator, project coordinator)
- Bachelor's degree (recent graduates welcome)
- Highly organized, with a track record of closing loops and keeping details accurate
- Analytical mindset, comfortable working with data and finances
- Energized by fast-paced startup environments and skilled at context-switching
- Strong communicator, comfortable working directly with the COO and other stakeholders
- A record of high-slope progression, such as a promotion in a previous role or similar signs of excellence
- Dealbreaker: Low ego and team-first. xhyhwjd Culture fit is extremely important here.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AP/AR and bookkeeping workflows
- Experience in a role bridging product and operations
- Master's degree
