Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support, allowing clients to share experiences and develop connection.
• Providing individual therapy tailored to each client's unique needs, guiding them through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors whilst creating actionable coping strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that outline their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic pathways.
• Monitoring and assessing client progress using various measurement tools, ensuring adjustments are made to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, sharing insights and collaborating on complex cases to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your passion for mental health will be reflected in your work with a diverse client base of teens and young adults. This demographic often faces unique challenges, including transitioning into adulthood, building self-identity, and managing anxiety and depression. Qualifications

• A valid and active LMHC license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, with a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and platforms.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, we particularly value candidates with:

• Experience in outpatient settings or with young adult populations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Prior roles that involved multidisciplinary teamwork in a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits
