Registered Behavior Technician - Fairfax, VA

Special Education Teacher

Make a meaningful impact by supporting a first-grade student in a one-on-one setting as a Special Education Teacher during the Extended School Year. This full-time, contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with administration and other caring professionals dedicated to student success. You'll play a key role in providing targeted instruction and behavioral support, utilizing your expertise with behavioral interventions in a nurturing school environment.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid credentials as a Special Education Teacher, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Previous experience in elementary education, especially supporting students with behavioral needs
• Familiarity with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD is highly desirable
• Ability to implement individualized education and behavioral plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to a first-grade student in a one-on-one format
