Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support site operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of location activity, and following post orders that help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions. Minimum Requirements: Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
