Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year required; will accept first-time travelers License: Active state RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias Description: The role requires an ER Registered Nurse working night shifts in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with multiple complex diagnoses. Every other weekend is required for the schedule. Holidays will be required as they fall within the schedule. Floating to different units within the nursing scope may be necessary. The candidate should have experience in charge roles preferred. Experience with patient ratios and charting systems is preferred. Knowledge and skills in various emergency procedures and patient care scenarios are required. The nurse must be comfortable working with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 160 patients. The position requires adherence to all necessary compliance and certification requirements. The travel nurse will need to be adaptable and flexible to meet the demands of the unit.
