Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias as a core clinical function
• Assess and treat patients presenting with multiple complex diagnoses
• Float within scope to other units as needed; travelers are first to float
• Adhere to scheduled shifts including holidays and every-other-weekend rotations

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current PALS certification (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated competency in management and interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmias
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the accepted online vendor)
• Experience working in high-acuity, high-volume emergency department environments
