Social Content Creator Optimism BH is seeking a creative and hands‑on Content Creator who is passionate about making compelling social content. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys collaborating with talented individuals, and wants to produce impactful work across various clients and formats. About the Role You are an editor at heart with a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to bring ideas to life through motion. You are proficient with the latest tools and trends, including generative AI for content creation. You are curious, resourceful, and proactive, capable of conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and publishing content within the same day. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize and produce timely, culturally relevant social content. Collaborate with producers, creatives, and client leads. Create short‑form video, long‑form storytelling, social‑first campaigns, and experimental AI‑driven work. Work across diverse categories, including food, retail, B2B, and consumer brands. Jump on trends and cultural moments in real time. Capture authentic moments at agency and client events. Plan and execute social campaigns with strategists and creatives. Analyze content performance to inform future strategies. Create original content (videos, Reels, graphics) aligned with client objectives. Edit social/digital videos to enhance brand messaging. Capture on‑ground photo and video content using iPhones and DSLRs. Design quick‑turn social graphics. Contribute fresh ideas to creative brainstorming and campaign ideation. Pitch ideas and refine content based on client feedback. Qualifications Based in the Bay Area, with availability to work in the San Francisco office three days a week. 2-4 years of social content experience, preferably in a creative agency. Skilled in editing, sound design, motion graphics, and photography. Proficient in shooting high‑quality video and photography. Experience filming/photographing food is a plus. Knowledgeable with DSLR and other digital camera equipment, lighting, and audio. Proficient in Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects); Photoshop is a plus. Ability to rent/secure additional film equipment as needed. Passionate about visual storytelling through post‑production. Strong organizational skills and dependability. Deep understanding of TikTok, Meta, and YouTube Shorts. Up‑to‑date on the latest trends and cultural shifts. Experience using generative AI image and video tools. Confident in client‑facing situations. Self‑motivated with a strong creative point of view, yet collaborative and open to feedback. Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute ideas. Open to travel for on‑site shoots and events. Experience in paid/organic social and influencer marketing. Experience in QSR, CPG, or Retail industries is a bonus. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Location Hybrid workplace in San Francisco. Team members must reside and work in the United States with reliable internet access. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, generous parental leave, and wellness benefits.
