Outside Sales Rep (Spanish)

Job Summary

A stable petroleum products company in Lancaster, CA is seeking a bilingual Spanish Outside Sales Rep for a full time opportunity. This is a hybrid inside and outside sales role designed for a motivated sales professional who can prospect, quote, follow up, visit customers, close business, and grow a local territory.

This is not a simple order-taking position. The ideal candidate is a hunter who enjoys building new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, solving problems, and representing products such as lubricants, fuel, DEF, and related petroleum solutions to commercial, industrial, automotive, trucking, and construction customers.

After the initial training and ramp-up period, the role is expected to become approximately 70% field-based customer visits and 30% inside sales and account support.

Key Responsibilities

- Prospect and identify new commercial, industrial, automotive, trucking, construction, and fleet customers throughout Lancaster, Palmdale, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, and surrounding High Desert communities.
- Make outbound sales calls, schedule appointments, conduct in-person visits, prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close new business opportunities.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by increasing gallons, gross profit, product penetration, and account engagement.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, quotes, order status, delivery timing, and equivalent product options.
- Coordinate with customer service, dispatch, warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to support timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, follow-ups, quotes, opportunities, customer records, and market intelligence in Salesforce CRM.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $25.00hr and up plus commission.
- Location: Lancaster, CA.
- Commission potential noted as 10% of TGP.
- After 90 to 120 days, the role is expected to be approximately 70% outside sales and 30% inside sales.
- Opportunity for salary growth, advancement into outside sales or account management, and commission eligibility after permanent hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Develop new business through prospecting, outbound sales calls, lead follow-up, quoting, and in-person customer visits.
- Manage existing customer accounts, support repeat business, cross-sell products, and help resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate sales records, quotes, opportunities, activities, and follow-ups in Salesforce CRM.
- Support customer orders, product questions, delivery coordination, and inside sales communication across phone, email, in-person, and online channels.

- Bilingual Spanish skills are required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in inside sales, outside sales, business development, customer service, account support, or a related B2B role.
- Comfortable making cold calls, visiting prospective customers, and pursuing new account opportunities.
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare quotes, follow up consistently, manage multiple opportunities, and meet sales activity and growth goals.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Windows-based tools, CRM systems, Salesforce, online chat, email, and related business technology.
- Self-motivated, organized, hardworking, and results-driven with strong follow-through and integrity.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer visits.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in petroleum products, lubricants, fuel, DEF, industrial supplies, automotive products, trucking, distribution, or related B2B sales.
- Experience selling to construction companies, trucking fleets, repair shops, dealerships, industrial facilities, or commercial businesses.
- Prior experience supporting will-call, shipping, receiving, dispatch, order fulfillment, or delivery coordination.
- Interest in growing into a larger outside sales, account management, or commission-based sales role.
