RN Service Supervisor — PRN/As Needed

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Wright Kind of Care is seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse Service Supervisor to support our growing non-medical home care agency.

The RN Service Supervisor will provide oversight, staff training, caregiver competency evaluations, client assessments, supervisory visits, and consultation to help ensure that services are delivered safely and according to each client’s plan of care.

This is a PRN/as-needed position. Hours will vary based on client admissions, supervisory visits, caregiver training, competency evaluations, and agency needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments
• Assist with developing and reviewing client plans of care
• Complete required client supervisory visits
• Train, educate, and support in-home caregivers
• Conduct caregiver competency evaluations and skills validations
• Review caregiver documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Educate staff on infection control, client safety, emergency procedures, and proper documentation
• Monitor caregiver performance and identify additional training needs
• Provide guidance regarding client-care concerns
• Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and the Agency Director
• Assist with reviewing complaints, incidents, and changes in client condition
• Participate in quality-improvement and record-review activities
• Support compliance with agency policies and North Carolina home care requirements
• Maintain complete, timely, and confidential documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Current TB skin test, blood test, or acceptable chest X-ray documentation
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
• Ability to travel to client homes in the Indian Trail and Charlotte service areas
• Strong leadership, training, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Must successfully complete required background checks and employment screenings

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home care, home health, personal care, long-term care, or community nursing experience
• Experience supervising or training caregivers
• Experience completing client assessments, plans of care, competency evaluations, and supervisory visits
• Familiarity with North Carolina home care requirements
• Experience working with older adults and individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions

Schedule

This is a PRN/as-needed position . Regular weekly hours are not guaranteed. Availability may be needed for client admissions, caregiver training, supervisory visits, and consultation.
