This Jobot Job is hosted by: Matt Swaneveld Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us: We are an established CPA firm located in San Diego with a long-standing client base and a strong reputation for providing responsive, high-quality tax and accounting services. Our team works primarily with small to mid-sized businesses, privately held companies, entrepreneurs, and business owners across a variety of industries. We are looking to add an experienced Senior Tax Accountant who enjoys working directly with clients, managing a diverse portfolio, and being part of a collaborative firm where their work is visible and valued. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a tax role with a focus on preparing 1040 individual returns, 1065 partnership, 1120S Corporate tax returns, non-profit, and estate returns. Strong technical tax skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and planning. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals and clients. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
