Investment Operations Analyst

We are seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join a leading financial services organization supporting critical middle office operations. This role is ideal for an analytical professional with experience in investment operations, trade support, reconciliations, or fund operations who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, resolving operational exceptions, and supporting the daily processing of investment activity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cash and position reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Research and investigate operational exceptions, trade breaks, and transaction issues to determine root causes and ensure timely resolution.
• Support day-to-day middle office operations, including cash management activities, trade support, and client-specific operational processes.
• Review transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
• Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports related to reconciliation results, exceptions, and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with internal operations, accounting, and client service teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the transition of legacy operational processes to standardized platforms and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to automation and operational efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Experience in investment operations, middle office, fund operations, securities operations, trade support, or financial services operations.
• Hands-on experience performing cash, position, or trade reconciliations and resolving operational exceptions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting mutual funds, asset servicing, fund accounting, or investment operations is a plus.
• Exposure to process improvement, automation, or AI-enabled operational tools is a plus.
