As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in San Carlos, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and the monitoring of assigned transit locations while maintaining detailed and accurate activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
