As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $40.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed. Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an Armed Guard Card or license. Possess a 40 Caliber Endorsement. Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
