Position Overview

• Hours: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Part-Time Considered)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Contract Duration: August 31, 2026 - June 22, 2027
• Extended School Year Option Available Through August 13, 2027
• Student Population: PreK-21 Years Old
• School Setting: Specialized School Serving Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Other Disabilities

Requirements

• Active New York Speech-Language Pathologist License
• New York Teaching Certification (TSSLD or TSHH)
• Active Medicaid Number
• OPRA Number Required
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) Number Required

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person speech-language therapy services to students ages PreK-21.
• Conduct speech, language, fluency, and communication assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Read, interpret, and follow student IEPs to ensure compliance and student success.
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families.
• Maintain accurate daily case notes and service documentation.
• Contribute to progress reports, report cards, and ongoing student evaluations.
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
