Procurement Specialist

APR is hiring for a Procurement Specialist in Greensboro NC


Location -27409


Hours - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm


Pay range - 55k - 65k

• Low volume procurement (they are a small company)
• Vendor relations experience
• SAP knowledge
• Maintain inventory levels in conjunction with the warehouse team
• Manage safety supplies inventory
• Perform other purchasing/procurement duties
• Consolidate procurement and supplier performance indicators
• Provide procurement and cost reporting
• Interpret contracts associated with procurement activities
• Maintain procurement records in SAP
• Qualifying new suppliers for the organizations procurement activities
• Make procurement policies and procedures
• Develop purchase orders and contracts
• Managing the procurement process from purchase order creation through delivery of goods
• Execute sourcing strategies and procurement of goods and services
• Manage supplier relationships and administer supplier contracts
• Boost procurement efficiency and performance
• Provide support in all procurement/contract related functions
• Prepare purchase orders or bid requests
• Support the procurement process from procure
• Conduct related center procurement audits
• Receive ordered products on time to meet operational requirements
• Update the appropriate procurement tool and complete all procurement follow-up activities
• Implement sourcing/procurement strategies to support corporate objectives
• Collect and distribute procurement and sourcing information
