Inspector - Temp to Hire

Responsibilities Howmet Engine Systems is hiring an Inspector to support the manufacturing process at our Rochester, NY facility. The role includes: Perform set-up of measuring and test equipment to determine dimensional measurements required on customer or in‑house product drawings or blueprints. Set up and inspect products requiring very close tolerances. Perform over‑inspections on outside machining. Audit parts for conformance to procedures and inspection results. Perform first‑article inspections and prepare inspection records as required. Prepare non‑conforming material reports. Maintain a clean and orderly inspection area. Perform final production inspection. Qualifications May be required to wear a respirator for certain tasks. Must be able to accurately read standard measuring tools (ruler, Vernier, calipers). Must be certified as a Howmet EHS and OSHA qualified forklift operator with previous forklift operation experience. Must have previous experience in a manufacturing facility. Candidates should be flexible to work up to a 12‑hour shift. Salary: $19/hr, temporary to hire.
