Compensation

Annual salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 (USD) plus a competitive benefits package.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

• Lead project planning, coordination, and execution from concept through final close‑out.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for new projects and change orders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to define accurate scope of work.
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present bid packages, negotiate contracts, and secure subcontractor agreements.
• Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (drawings, specifications, change orders, invoices).
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes.

Must‑Haves (Essential Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certification such as PMP, CPM, or Certified Estimator – preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in construction project management and cost estimating.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Procore, Sage Estimating) and project‑management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and client‑interaction capabilities.

• Experience working in the California construction market.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and labor regulations.
• Additional certifications or training in sustainable building practices (LEED, Green Building).
