Job Title: Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled refrigeration technician to work on large cooling units, including walk-in coolers and freezers. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cooling systems efficiently.
• Read and hook up gauges to assess system performance.
• Work with HVAC and Carrier refrigeration systems.
• Handle capacitors and other essential components within refrigeration units.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with refrigeration systems, particularly walk-in coolers or freezers.
• Proficiency in working with HVAC systems.
• Experience with Carrier refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in refrigeration technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with cold storage refrigeration units.
• Ability to read and connect gauges for system analysis.
• Knowledge of capacitors and their functions within cooling systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
