Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator (Shipping & Receiving)
Location: Madison, GA 30650
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Pay: $19.50/hr
Summary
Now hiring a Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced shipping environment in Madison, GA. This Warehouse Associate role is hands-on and not “forklift only”—you’ll split time between forklift activities, verifying pallets on the floor, manual material handling, and shipping paperwork. If you have warehouse experience, can work safely around moving equipment, and can handle a physical, metrics-driven shift, this is a great opportunity to get started quickly.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and material handling equipment to move pallets, product, and materials
- Verify pallet contents and support shipping accuracy checks on the floor
- Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, staging, and moving materials as needed
- Complete shipping paperwork and maintain accurate inventory/shipping records
- Follow SOPs, quality guidelines, and safety procedures (PPE, housekeeping standards)
- Use basic computer skills for tracking, documentation, and workflow updates
- Work efficiently in a warehouse setting with moderate-to-loud noise and changing temperatures
Qualifications
- 1+ year warehouse experience (shipping, receiving, material handling, logistics, manufacturing)
- Forklift experience preferred; comfortable working around industrial equipment
- Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs and perform frequent standing/walking throughout shift
- Strong attention to detail for pallet verification, labeling, and documentation accuracy
- Able to read, write, and follow procedures in English; basic math and basic computer skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM)consistently
- Comfortable in a warehouse environment that can be hot in summer and cold in winter
