Job Description Summary To perform diagnostic medical radiographies for the emergency department, outpatient, inpatient, and surgery patients. Ability to utilize all radiographic and portable x‑ray equipment. Responsibilities Perform medical exams using X‑rays on patients to create images of specific parts of the body. The images are then interpreted by a doctor for diagnosis and monitoring of disease. Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Experience: Zero to two years of modality‑specific work experience. Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire. Licensure: Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association required. BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required (certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider).
