Clinical Services Manager

Job Overview

The Clinical Services Manager plays a vital role at Growth Management, Inc. This position will be housed at the corporate office but will travel to other locations as needed. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of clinical services and demands a highly organized and experienced professional capable of leading a team of therapists and working with a multidisciplinary team, optimizing patient care processes, and upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence. As a Clinical Services Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and the overall performance of the clinical department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Primary Therapist staff, evaluate employee performance, and make recommendations for employment actions to the CEO.
• Make recommendations of the daily operations of assigned units and schedule meetings, services, and workers' time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations to ensure high standards of client care.
• Lead, mentor, and manage clinical staff, including conducting performance reviews.
• Recommend and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
• Ensure continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive services and coordinate communication with other service components.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and its code of ethics; complies with the State Mental Health Code.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze clinical performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
• Coordinate staff training and professional development programs.
• Facilitate communication between clinical staff and management.
• Handle client complaints and work to resolve any issues related to clinical services.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Licensed as an LMFT or an LCSW or a related licensure, required.
• Bachelor's degree in mental health discipline, required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in mental health or human services.
• Proven track record of improving clinical operations and patient care quality.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in healthcare management software and electronic health records systems.
• Practiced knowledge of clinical procedures, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.

Additional Requirements & Preferences

• Pass a fingerprinting background clearance, required.
• Experience working with adolescents aged 12-17 years old, preferred.
• Crisis management skills, required.
• Knowledge of psychopathology and dual diagnosis, preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
