IT Business Analyst

Location: Virginia (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Industry: Mortgage / Financial Services Experience: 5+ Years What You\'ll Do As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you\'ll work closely with Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Capital Markets, and Operations teams to deliver strategic mortgage technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements across the mortgage lifecycle. Translate business, investor, and GSE requirements into functional and technical specifications. Support collateral valuation initiatives, including: Automated Collateral Evaluation (ACE) Appraisal waivers Hybrid & desktop appraisal workflows Valuation modernization Lead requirements gathering for integrations with: Loan Origination Systems (LOS) Mortgage servicing platforms Credit bureaus Automated Valuation Model (AVM) providers Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) Title systems MERS Support secondary market delivery, investor reporting, pooling activities, and MISMO-compliant data integrations. Collaborate with underwriting, risk, compliance, and capital markets teams to ensure regulatory and investor compliance. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Mortgage Banking or Financial Services. Strong understanding of the complete mortgage lifecycle: Origination Processing Underwriting Closing Delivery Servicing Experience supporting GSE-related mortgage programs.
