RN/LPN Charge Nurse

RN/LPN Charge NurseCedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents while supervising the delivery of care to our residents. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Director of Nursing to ensure the highest level of care and service.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environmentComplete assessments of residents at admission and dischargeSupervise nursing staff assignedDocument services rendered to residents for billing purposesMake daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residentsImplement established nursing policies and procedures, educating nursing support staff according to facility guidelinesAssign duties to LPN's and nursing assistants, as directedWork closely with the Director of Nursing in resolving grievances with nursing staff, family members, and residentsPromote favorable working conditions and relationshipsReview charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completenessMaintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic proceduresRespond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staffTrack infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvementOther special projects and duties, as assignedRequirementsRegistered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with current state licenseOne (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferredMust have a current/active CPR certificationHighest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentialityFunction independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendorsWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryComprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and supportive work environment
