Architecture Student Intern - Fall 2026

HOK is a collective of future‑forward thinkers and designers. Our St. Louis studio is currently seeking an Architecture intern to join our team this fall. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a degree in architecture to gain practical, hands‑on experience. You'll work on real‑world projects, learn from and collaborate with talented professionals, and develop skills in a dynamic studio environment. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the majority of time on‑site in our St. Louis office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Responsibilities Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc., as directed by others using CAD/BIM. Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards. Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects. Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings. Build models or prepare project boards for client/project team review. Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices. Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service. Education & Experience Currently enrolled in an architecture program. Previous internship with an architectural or interior design firm preferred. Skills & Competencies Possess basic hand and CAD/BIM drafting skills. Proficiency in Revit preferred. Ability to effectively meet deadlines. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a team environment.
