ChefSteps a partner brand of BRG Group is looking for a GrowthMarketing Manager (Digital Subscriptions & Partnerships) to drive subscription growth and retention, as well as leadstrategic collaborations across our digital content ecosystem. This role sitsat the intersection of growth marketing, content strategy, and partnerships-owninginitiatives that convert audiences into subscribers and deepen engagement overtime.

This role requires a highly collaborative,proactive marketer who is both creative and analytically minded. The idealcandidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functionalenvironment and can seamlessly shift between big-picture strategy and hands-onexecution. You are an excellent communicator and relationship builder, able tomanage internal stakeholders and external partners with equal confidence. Youhave a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a bias toward action isessential, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritizeeffectively, and continuously test and learn.

Aboveall, you bring a genuine passion for food, storytelling, and audienceengagement. This is an individual contributor role and is site-based at ourcorporate headquarters and studio test kitchen in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities

Subscription Growth & Lifecycle Marketing
Own acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies for digital subscriptions.
Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, organic/social, in-app, web).
Optimize funnel performance-from awareness through trial, conversion, and renewal.
Develop and test offers, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Partner with product and analytics teams to improve onboarding and subscriber experience.

Partnership Marketing & Collaborations
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships (products, brands, chefs, creators, platforms).
  • Build co-marketing campaigns that drive subscriber growth and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate partners into content, product, and campaigns.
  • Track and report on partnership performance, ensuring ROI and alignment with growth goals.
CampaignDevelopment & Execution
  • Brief and collaborate with creative teams on high-performing campaign assets.
  • Lead campaign calendars aligned with editorial, product launches, and seasonal moments.
  • Ensure consistency across channels while tailoring messaging for different audiences.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables across campaigns and partners.
Analytics& Optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance, subscriber behavior, and cohort trends.
  • Use data to inform testing strategies (A/B testing, segmentation, and messaging).
  • Report on KPIs including CAC, LTV, churn, conversion rates, and engagement.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for growth and retention.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration
  • Partner with editorial and production teams to align marketing with content strategy.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and CRM teams to implement growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations on forecasting, budgeting, and revenue tracking.
Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of experience as a dynamic individual contributor executing digital, subscription, or growth marketing.
  • Experience working in a DTC, media, or subscription-based business (food or lifestyle experience is a plus).
  • Experience with subscription platforms, paywalls, and/or membership models.
  • Proven track record of driving subscriber acquisition and retention.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, CRM, and performance channels.
  • Experience managing partnerships, affiliates, or co-marketing campaigns.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker, Amplitude, or similar).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, product, and business teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Background in food, lifestyle, or creator-driven media.
  • Familiarity with email/CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar).
  • Experience working with talent, chefs, or influencers on branded campaigns.
