Quality Specialist (QPE)

Quality Specialist (QPE) Location FORVIA HELLA is a listed international automotive supplier. YOUR TASKS

Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards and procedures. Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate quality performance. Document quality assurance activities, identifying any areas needing improvements. Review and analyse quality performance metrics and generate reports for management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the exchange of ideas and ensure that quality standards are understood and met. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality. Assess customer requirements and ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements. Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to quality issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions. Undertake training and development activities to maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality standards and regulations. Provide guidance and support to team members in addressing quality-related issues. Assist in the management of product recalls, if necessary. Ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable quality-related standards. Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier quality performance. Participate in product development projects to ensure design control activities are in compliance with quality standards.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 A Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering or a similar field preferred. At least 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Specialist role or in a related field. Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and ability to interpret quality standards and regulations. Strong understanding of ISO quality management systems. Effective problem-solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Adept at data analysis and interpretation of quality metrics. Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office Suite and quality management software. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) credentials would be a plus. Experience in conducting audits and inspections. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while ensuring high quality of work.
