Role : Construction Coordinator
Location : Miramar, FL
Schedule : Hybrid (4 days onsite) | 7:30am - 4:30pm EST
Rate : $28/hour W2

We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to support the administrative management and lifecycle tracking of telecommunications construction projects. This is an office-based role with no field travel required. The ideal candidate will have prior construction industry experience, strong Excel and reporting capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and milestones simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Lifecycle Management

• Create and manage construction jobs within project tracking systems (JT/Polaris).
• Track projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring milestones are updated accurately and on time.
• Monitor and manage exceptions to project lifecycle service level agreements (SLAs).
• Reconcile project records and job documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate small construction and network build projects from initiation through completion.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are completed.
• Provide project status updates and reporting to management.

Financial & Resource Administration

• Create and manage funding requests and purchase orders.
• Support material tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Research contracts and project agreements as needed.
• Assist with project estimate and budget tracking activities.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Manage administrative quality control workflows.
• Validate completion of required project documentation, including permits, invoices, materials, photos, and footage records.
• Analyze project data and generate reports to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all project milestones are properly updated prior to job closure.
• Confirm final invoicing and closeout activities are completed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting construction, telecommunications, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience tracking project data, milestones, budgets, and documentation.
• Ability to learn new software systems and project management tools quickly.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting telecom construction, fiber, broadband, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in a Construction Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or project support role.
• Familiarity with project tracking systems and workflow management tools.
