The Construction Superintendent will oversee small teams of 5-10 workers on renovation and mixed-type construction projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role demands a hands-on approach with a primary on-site presence combined with occasional travel between sites and hybrid office work. The superintendent ensures project success by managing safety, quality, schedules, budgets, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction teams to ensure productivity and adherence to project plans
• Manage safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
• Implement quality assurance processes for high standards of workmanship
• Coordinate schedules to meet project timelines
• Oversee budget to control costs and optimize resource use
• Allocate resources effectively across renovation and mixed project types
• Monitor compliance with regulations and company policies
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management
• High school diploma or equivalent
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Proficiency in construction scheduling and project management
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance and budget management
• Demonstrated team leadership and communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude and expertise in quality control
• Familiarity with Procore construction software
