The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of employment-related matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance, and will be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Admission in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities:Represent employers in labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claimsDraft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsConduct legal research and prepare memoranda on employment law issuesAdvise clients on employment-related compliance, policies, and best practicesAssist with internal investigations and risk assessmentsDraft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and workplace policiesParticipate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearancesStay current on developments in federal, New Jersey, and (if applicable) Pennsylvania employment lawsQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (preferred)Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment lawStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience with employment litigation and/or counselingAbility to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and client communication skillsPreferred Skills:Experience practicing before state and federal courts in NJ/PAFamiliarity with agencies such as the EEOC and state equivalentsExperience advising employers on day-to-day HR issuesJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
