On Call Public Safety Officer

Description Luther Village, an independent senior living community located in Arlington Heights, is actively looking for an experienced and hospitality-focused Security ( Safety Officer) to join our team! We are seeking a dedicated on-call Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents effectively. Duties Monitor and patrol buildings and parking areas. Monitor areas for physical hazards. Respond to incidents and assist residents as needed. Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assess situations, and take appropriate action. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide support during investigations. The shift is Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5 pm -1 am. Skills Experience in a senior living community preferred. Proficient in surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergencies. Must have a valid driver\'s license and clean driving record. Background check required Must be able to work independently. Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can feel secure!
